 Getting this thread back on track..Here's some vintage shots of the Vette when it was a Gasser..I just found out today that the car has extensive race history,the original owner/builder being none other than Chip Baney..Chip was a well known and feared competitor in Gas classes and Comp Eliminator back in the 60's/70's with his "Dancing Bear" Corvettes..This is the first of several Corvettes Chip raced..He sold the car in the early '70 to George Kratochvil,who's family I bought the car from...

  Fulie Vettes restored are near 100K  or more..If Chip were more famous on a national level (like Grumpy Jenkins or Scotto/Blevins)it could be worth more but I don't think so..
