Count me in as long as it is not raining or snowing. I do not want mother nature washing my car, that's my job!

Just so you guys know, we did get an invitation to participate in the parade. They also sent me a confirmation form to fill out which had to be in by the 26th. I submitted the form this evening just so it's in a day early and told them we could have 12+ cars participate in the parade and more if needed. Let's see what they send back. One of the things they stipulate is that each group have a banner. So we'll need to make up some banners to hang on the sides of a few of the cars.

good job John just wanting to be sure, are we in or still waiting to find out? Im sure once they respond back you will have a mtg spot for us all to meet that day? Now the first step is getting rid of all this snow. oh and i think i read its rain or shine for the parade, would we want to do that or just shine?

We have been confirmed as participants! It's on guys. If you haven't responded that you want to be in the parade please do so ASAP! I'm starting another thread with just the total number of cars. I still want everybody to reply here though. I'd like to hit at least 12 cars for the parade. I've got a couple of friends that want to attend too. Oh yeah, the Mid-Jersey Antique Car Club is also attending. Let's show them up! Jack, if you want to bring more than one car let me know!

UPDATES: 1.) I was contacted today by a local newspaper, the Robbinsville Advance. They left a message on my home phone and I have returned thier calls and left a message with them to call me on my cell phone. Apparently word has gotten out that we will be in the parade and they want to do a story about our web site. 2.) We need banners for the parade. Each group who participates is required to display a banner. Greg (Speedcellar) has graciously offered to donate some of his time designing a banner for us and will be cutting us a major deal on the price. Thanks Greg! I would also like to have two smaller signs to put in the side rear windows of Jacks station wagon so they would be visible to people watching the parade and a third sign to put on the back of the last car in our group. These signs will be re-usable which is good. If anybody wants to chip in for the signs please let me know. 3.) The Robbinsville Advance for sure and possibly the Messenger Press(haven't talked to them yet) will be covering the parade so some of you could get your cars in the paper. Between the parade and the newspaper article this is going to be great publicity for the site and could net us some new members and who knows what else.
